육신이라는 것은 이승에 와 있는 동안 잠시 빌려 입는 의복일 뿐이다.
하지만 영혼은 죽지 않는 불사의 존재다.
우리는 지구라는 학교에서 뭔가를 배우기 위해
잠시 이곳에 온 신성한 존재이고 자신이 배워야 할 것을 정해
스스로 수업시간표를 짠 학생들이라 할 수 있다.
우리의 모든 생각과 행동은 필연적인 결과를 가져오게 되어 있다.
우리 행동에 대한 책임은 우리에게 있는 것이다.
다음 생에서 특정인종 또는 종교인으로 환생하는 가장 확실한 방법은
그 인종이나 종교에 대해편견을 갖는 것이다.
특정집단을 증오하면 다음 번생에서 그 집단으로
환생하는 특급열차를 타는 것이나 마찬가지다.
때로는 지신이 가장 증오했던 대상으로 태어남으로써
사랑하는 법을 배우기도 하기 때문이다.
모든 일에는 이유가 있고 운명의 길을 따라가는 데 있어
우연이란 존재하지 않는다.
