현명한 남자의 지혜
옛날에 현명한 남자가 산을 넘어가다가 도적을 만났습니다.
현명한 남자는 가진 게 하나도 없었습니다. 그래서 사정사정했습니다.
그냥 보내주면 나중에 성공해서 꼭 은혜를 갚겠다고요.
그래서 도둑은 이 남자가 성공할 만큼 현명한지 아닌지를 시험해 보기로 했습니다
돌 두 개를 가져와서 돌에다 " 보낸다 , 안 보낸다". 를 쓰고 고르라고 했습니다.
현명한 남자는 가만히 생각해 보니 분명 돌 두 개 다 "안 보낸다"로 쓰여있을게 분명했습니다.
조금 뜸을 들이다 돌하나를 골라 얼른 연못에 던져 버렸습니다.
도둑은 돌을 연못에 던지면 판단을 못하지 않느냐고 화를 냈습니다.
그때 현명한 남자가 말했습니다. 제가 고른 건 연못에 던졌으니 나머지 돌을 보면 나를 보낼지, 안 보낼지 알겠지요?

The wisdom of a wise man
Once upon a time, a wise man was crossing a mountain when he encountered a bandit. The wise man had nothing, so he begged the thief.
If you just let me go, I'll succeed later and return the favor.
So the thief decided to test whether or not this man was smart enough to succeed
Take two stones and put them on the stone, "Send it, don't send it". and asked the man to choose.
The wise man thought about it, and it was clear that both of the stones must have written "I don't send."
After a while, I picked out a stone and quickly threw it into the pond.
The thief was angry that if he threw a stone into the pond, he would not be able to judge.
At that moment, the wise man said, since I threw the one I picked into the pond, so when you look at the rest of the stones, you'll know whether I'm going to send it or not, right?
